the problem

Studying droplet drying needs consistent, reproducible measurement around a single physical rig.

what i built

  • Acoustic levitation setup with modular 3D-printed hardware and integrated heating
  • Computer vision pipeline (OpenCV) extracting droplet diameter, area and eccentricity over time
  • Full experiment workflow: upload, analyse, visualise, export
  • Cloud storage of videos and results via AWS S3 with secure presigned URLs
  • Persistent experiment tracking via PostgreSQL on AWS RDS with cached analysis results
